"Always clean and people are courteous"

"Very clean, safe and organized. Spaces are not too close to each other. I love the trees that surround the site. the pool is small so when the kids were in it, we did not want to join in the chaos (we are a couple in our 50s looking for tranquility). I am glad they have pool adult hours from 8-10pm daily but parents who don't care for the rules still get to sneak in. Camp host was very friendly and attentive. The store had most of what you need and some branded souvenirs. Reception was always welcoming. The resort is close to several attractions: it is right next door to the Nevada County Fairgrounds. We easily visited the Empire Mine State Park, downtown Grass Valley and downtown, Nevada City all in a day because they were so close. That was a treat! We also drove about 45 minutes to the Hard Rock Sacramento in Marysville for their amazing lobster and crab buffet. We will be back!"

We'd never stayed in Grass Valley but we'll be back

"Had a great stay here — when we needed to change our reservation due to a family situation, there was no charge and no hassle. Great pool, dog park, tennis courts and live music on the Friday we were there. My husband especially liked the spots — he felt whoever designed the park knew what they were doing as it was easy to get in and out of. We'd never stayed in Grass Valley but found a lot to do there so we'll be back and we'll stay here!"

"This place was amazing, the manager April was amazing, very helpful. We had a surprise birthday party and we rented a golf cart and decorated it all up nice. I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be coming back."

"Clean friendly quiet"

Every site is full hookup

"Every site is FHU. The bathrooms and showers were heated and very clean. The lodge is a great spot to hang out, socialize and play board games. There is live music on Friday and Saturday nights at the lodge. All sites are concrete pads and fairly level. The sites are nicely spaced out and not right next to each other. There is a heated pool and hot tub year round and there are multiple fire pits around the pool deck. Plenty of nicely paved roads for kids to bike on inside the park. The camp store is fully stocked with beer, wine and food items. The staff is very friendly and great to talk with."

Feels like a getaway

"We love that GVRV is close to home but still feels like a getaway. We booked last year during the Nevada County Fair, and even though it was full, it made it convenient for us to get to the Fair during the day."

They had a wine tasting the day we arrived

"We went to GVRV for the first time last summer and did not know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean the resort was and how friendly the staff was as well. They had a wine tasting the day we arrived, but had just finished when we checked in! We plan on going back this summer and definitely making it to all the events they have!"

Our favorite memory at GVRV

"Our favorite memory at GVRV was when during the rain the kids spent the evening splashing in the heated pool living their best life. While they played, we settled in by the fireplace and relaxed as we watched over them. It was so peaceful and they had the best time and it was a nice break from being inside the RV."

A very fun experience

"For many years my wife and I visited the Grass Valley area and stayed in a hotel. We own a motorhome but the local parks were a little too rustic for our tastes. So when the GVRV opened we were eager to bring the RV. Each visit has been pleasant but the most memorable so far was the day they were giving line dancing lessons. A very fun experience."

It's so beautiful

"My favorite memory at GVRV is walking around the entire property and in the area. It's so beautiful with the pond across the street with the geese and ducks. We also loved the proximity to the downtown area. Picking only one memory is hard, we enjoyed many moments there."

It's our new favorite campground!

"It's our new favorite campground! Our favorite memory was on Karaoke night. It was a horrible stormy night and the camp host was doing a karaoke night. We all went as a group — Fremont Caravaners. There were 2 other clubs there that night. We had such a great time. We have a few great memories with family trips and our club trip. Can't wait to go back. You all are doing a great job. Staff is so friendly and it's always a fun time!"

GVRV was able to accommodate me last minute

"I'm traveling around the country with my 2 golden retrievers and stay at places that I have no idea what they are about until I get there. I arrived at one of those "not so much" places and knew I had to find somewhere else to stay. I went on Google Maps and noticed GVRV. GVRV was able to accommodate me last minute and find a way to get me into a monthly site. I'm happy that GVRV was able to save me. I enjoy having the fairgrounds across the street for walking my dogs also."

The experience was like no other resort

"The experience was like no other resort. From check in to check out flawless, the selection of items in the store and the staff willing to help with repairing my RV or calling a local RV repairman for us. The resort was also close to many events in the area. The resort was kept very clean and pool and spa maintained."

"Such a beautifully designed RV resort. Love the overall feel of the park. It’s very nice and well thought out. Can’t wait to see what it looks like in a few years from now. Over all the Showers laundry pool spa were all very nice. The town was so cute and quaint. I did miss having a traditional fire ring so that part was a bit of a bummer."

GVRV — The Jewel of Grass Valley

"GVRV Resort is the jewel of Grass Valley! With easy pull through sites and so many amenities too. But the gorgeous view is probably the best amenity! We had local pizza and brews and toured a gold mining area. GVRV is near the highway but you cannot hear it at the park; all you hear is quiet at night."

Great place to stay!

"Great RV park and management was wonderful and accommodating. We had a big group and this is the perfect place. Will definitely be back! Convenient to downtown and fairgrounds. Much better amenities vs the fairgrounds. Pickleball and bocce ball facilities were very nice."

Nicest RV park I have ever been to

"Very nice, brand new. Stayed for the County Fair. Super nice place. Was not disappointed in any way. Booked another trip for this fall. They have an amazing pool and hot tub and pickleball courts, total of three. Beautiful area of Northern California."

"One of the nicest RV parks I've been to. It's brand new. The pool area is amazing. The dog wash is a cool idea. They have pickleball courts, beautiful fire pits, all the spaces are full hookup and concrete. Lots of things to do in the area. I'll definitely be back."
